Welcome to the homepage for the Chubu Chapter of the Spectroscopic Society of Japan. The Chubu branch aims to promote all aspects of spectroscopy to the wider community in Chubu. This is achieved through activities including scientific meetings and lectures in which invited speakers talk about their work in spectroscopy, excursions to the universities, research institutes and industries in this area. Chubu branch covers the prefectures of Aichi, Gifu, Mie, Shizuoka, Nagano, Toyama, Fukui and Ishikawa, and has more than 110 members.
